Lauverde isn't just a setting; it’s a "Crowned Democracy." It is a modern nation where the 24-hour news cycle and democratic elections exist alongside a 300-year-old throne. In this upcoming book series, I’m exploring a world where the people are given the power to vote, but the King retains the absolute power to take it all back.
The Story at a Glance: The series begins at a breaking point. King Dallas, the 30th monarch of the Welshore line, has issued a historic decree granting the government unprecedented independence. But in the halls of power, freedom is never simple. As President Ryan Hill navigates this new era of leadership, the line between "National Tranquility" and "Total Control" begins to blur.
